Yeah I still squirm at the mention of your terrible, terrible cockroach experience. I'm sooo sorry LA has been so uncomfortable so far! And that meeting with Glen Keane sounds so cool. I can only imagine what his drawings are like in real life. The man's a legend!

Better than having a spider sac in the slippers, though! Stupid apartment. Glen Keane is great - he is so willing to help out us young 'uns.

First off, I'm so sorry about your LA experience so far but glad you've moved out of that terrible roach cesspit. 0_0

Second, how undeniably cool is it that you met Glen Keane?

Yeah I was finding and killing at least five a day!

It's very cool - and he's the one who insisted that he meet with every trainee!

What a great update on such a horrible subject as cockroaches!! yeeech!

But all the art stuff you talk about is awesome! What an amazing experience! Glen Keane one on one?! ARGH!!!! SO COOL!!!!

As for LA... the driving part, some people just need time to get used to it, and some people never get used to it.

And the food... the good food in LA is plentiful! BUT...Burbank sucks BAD for foodies. There is Tony's sandwich shop on Magnolia and Shelton, and a good breakfast burrito place (Corner Cottage) on Victory and Tujunga, and the Cuban bakery Portos on Magnolia and Hollywood...thats about it... oh, and Dino's pizza on Burbank and Hollywood way is ok too, its decent pizza. Otherwise, stick to Trader Joes, and make your own goodies... or you drive, Burbank is a culinary dead zone.

Hey dude sorry about that art auction! I really wanted to participate but most of my time was spent at work or with a can of RAID.

Man, I hear ya - Burbank sucks for eats. I never thought I'd miss cheap Asian food as much as I did... and sushi is pricey here!! I was having sushi nearly on a daily basis back in Vancouver.

Its cool about the art auction, Roaches on the arm is a good reason to be busy.

Now our goal is trying to get the winners to pick up their phone or answer email... grrrr... the children await their art supplies!!!!
