I'm sorry about your professor's passing.... his funeral sounded like it was quite beautiful though. military style.
Oh my gosh - So Cal is plastered with plastic surgeons! whoa - that sounded weird... anyways, the weekly papers here are full of ads for some kind of cosmetic surgery. it's crazy. And it seems all the young people have little or no problem with it. It reminds me of my boss from detroit who is BEAUTIFUL - I mean she could model just the way she is right now...anyways, she was 22 at the time she said, if she could get plastic surgery, she would do it in a heart beat, because if you are given a chance to be 'peprfect' - then why wouldn't we all take it?...I was flabberghasted (my haw fell to the floor). I grew up with the notion that we are all perfect - even through our so called 'imperfections'.... I guess times have changed :P

times have changed totally! It's really sad because, just like tabacco and alcohol, pastic surgery hit the youngsters - individuals who are not really mature enough to really think it through. THere was this other girl who wanted to look like Carmen Electra. And her friend, who is dating her was like, "I'm really excited about her boobs that's all." He was laughing at her while she in pain coming out of the car and getting out of bed. He didn't even want to ask her to be his girlfriend after she got her boob job! *shakes head* man, and I thought I had some serious issues with myself....

I guess you loose out on the infos when you graduate. But yeah, he passed (not sure when). He truly was a great teacher and I'll always remember him with this bill clinton jokes.

prof patacsil was my teacher for ma151..i'll never forget how cheesy his jokes were haha...im glad his suffering is over now...and ya i have to admit im one of those really self-conscious people, but i dont think i'll get plastic surgery just so a guy would date me...hrm..thats good food for thought...
