You know in asking this, I realized I've never really played more minor characters here BUT ANYWAY.

I was wondering just how much canon a character needs to be considered appable? The character in question is this kid. ( Disclaimer: The Kuro Wiki, while generally useful for displaying how much he has appeared in canon, as I'm doing, should not be trusted for anything beyond that. I am going to be writing up his history myself, as there are errors in history information there. )

Basically, I wanted to check with y'all before I tried apping him, and was wondering if, given that wiki link, you feel he would be considered playable within Discedo?

In general, so long as a character has enough appearances and has spoken enough to have a feel for their character, we consider them appable. It's difficult to make a concrete rule on it, but from skimming the link provided, I'd say that the character can be apped, yes.

Can we app AU versions of canon characters? Like... I have Mary Winchester here, from Supernatural, and I want to tack on some AU to the very end of her story- something about amnesia and not remembering who she really is. Would that be acceptable?

Only original universe characters are allowed, unless the alternate universe is part of canon.

Can you post meme events in the OOC comm, even if you're not a mod?

We prefer to keep memes from overtaking the game, so please check with us before you do. If we haven't had one super recently, then we'll say yes and you can go ahead and do it!

Are straight up Vocaloids appable? Some of them are given personality officially (Luka was said to be cool and mysterious and has appeared live in concert, Sonika had her own twitter, ect). Or do they have to be from the manga or a specific storyline like the Of Evil series?

Not knowing the canon very well, I would have to say the latter. They would need more personality than 'cool and mysterious', and would need to have at least a couple of lines as themselves (not as them singing a song) to be appable.

If I want to switch journals for a character, how do I go about doing that?

Pretty much just tell us, remove the current journal everywhere, and join the communities and update all your information on the lists, and then you're good to go!
