"Thank you, Keisuke-senpai," Fuuka gave a quick bow to him before turning. "I'll be back in a moment with a friend-- we'll only be using the room for a little while longer."
With their goodbyes exchanged, Fuuka exited the music club's room. She had to go back upstairs with the promise to meet Katori after school. When she turned the corner of the empty hallway to reach the stairs, a familiar (and quite unwanted) voice made her freeze in place.
"Hey, you."
Fuuka craned her head over her shoulder reluctantly-- Natsuki and Saeko, two out of some of the classmates that constantly picked on her, were standing not far behind. Without a second thought Fuuka began to move forward, but she didn't get very far before she felt her arm being pulled backwards.
"Where do you think you're going?" Natsuki sneered, firmly holding on to Fuuka's wrist. Even without looking, the smirk on her face could nearly be felt.
"P- please," Fuuka pleaded, trying to pull herself out of Natsuki's grip. "I need to be somewhere."
"Yeah, sure," Saeko shot back. She turned to the girl accompanying her. "Sorry, but we've decided we wanted to spend some quality time with you instead."
Natsuki flashed out a pair of keys-- further inspection made them out to be the gym's. She didn't know how she was able to get those, but Fuuka knew there would be no straight answer if she asked.
"Heh," Natsuki shoved the keys back in her pocket as she shook her head. "Alright, move it." She shoved Fuuka in the direction of the doors leading to the outside walkway. "You're not going anywhere today."
Fuuka stumbled forward, barely saving herself from falling. They had her, completely had her, and she knew she couldn't fight back. Even if it was only one of them here, she couldn't have stood a chance; she was too weak to fend for herself. Mixed in with her panicked mind, and Fuuka was sure there was nothing she could do.
------------
The next thing she knew, the doors to the gym flew open, and Fuuka was pushed inside-- and this time she did fall, hitting the ground of the building hard. Simultaneous snickers were heard from the two girls before one of them spoke up.
"Why don't you wait here for a while?" Saeko said, her seemingly casual voice dripping with malice. "We'll be back in a while-- maybe."
Fuuka coughed, trying to regain her breath. The wind had been easily knocked out of her from the fall. By the time she was able to pull herself to her knees, the doors had been shut by them, and the click of the lock was heard.
"No!" Fuuka shouted, quickly getting to her feet and rushing towards the door. She grabbed the handle, pushed and pulled, yet nothing she did worked. "Let me out!" She pounded her fist on the door. They never came back though. "Please. . . I promised Katori. . ."
