Well, you will quickly run out of fanfiction since there's....not much! But i'm interested in writing more (as in, on my coming days off work, heh) so you'll have a bit more shortly, I suppose.

I'm really glad you like the present tense! I've only recently switched to using that perspective and I'm finding my writing style loves me for it.
