It is a cobble stitch. Do you crochet too or just knit? It's this great yarn I found at a joann's fabrics, made especially for them. It's an acrylic blend I believe...
I posted a picture of one of the balls a few months back.

I just knit. I'd like to learn crochet at some point, though -- I've seen some cute things done with it.

i want to run my fingers over it. Do the little bumps deflate or are they "solid?"
