Sad news

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I post this today. My very good friend, and I know good friend of many of you, Stuart Carroll (minotaurs) passed away this morning, June 14. During the night he suffered a massive heart attack, and despite tremendous efforts to save him, he passed away at 6:00 a.m. He had good friends by his side until the end,

Oh, that's such terrible terrible news. I didn't know him as well as I'd have liked but I grieve for the loss to fandom and to his close friends.

I am so sorry to hear this. I knew him from one or more of my fandoms, and it was a pleasure to meet him at Connexions. What a terrible shock for those close to him. They will be in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this. I only met him once but he was gracious, and a whole lot of fun.

I'm so sorry. I never met or spoke to him, but his slash tips are a fantastic resource for writers and I've recommended them frequently. This is a loss for the whole community.

He was very nice to me when I was putting together a Smallville con many years ago. At the last minute, he couldn't attend so we never met face to face, but his kindness will be remembered.
