New girl
Names Amanda. I wanted to introduce myself-just joined the community. I love Harry Connick Jr to pieces... he is the shizza I've listened him since I was a kid. Never seen him in concert though :( but yeah he rocks my socks..he's awesome I love him.

I've been a member for a year and a half or so... it's a very quiet one, but that's okay.
I saw HCJ once, when he came to my hometown (which in and of itself surprised me- my city isn't huge, about 140,000 or so). It was a great concert; I wish I'd been in the center and a little closer, though (I was sitting on the left, where the piano was, and was about 13 rows back). I think he went back last year, too, during his Only You tour... ooh, that's right, he was there this summer, in the outdoor ampitheater. I think I had to work that night, or I would have at least gone to listen outside, if nothing else!
I really want to go to NOLA for Mardi Gras, specifically to attend Orpheuscapade. Some day!!

Saw Harry for the first time this spring. Amazing how he worked the crowd - I felt his presence from almost in the back of the mezzanine. Next time, better seats.
Can we all pool our resources together and make it to Mardi Gras as a group? Can the NOPD handle us? ;-)
