I don't understand how someone can live without knowing how to cook basic staples and do their own laundry and clean up after themselves. I admit I couldn't cook anything but KD or do laundry before I moved out, but it's pretty easy to learn and neccesity is a hell of a teacher.
I agree with this. Sounds like he has a really romanticized view of his 'country'. If it's anything like the area my grandfather's farm is in, most of the guys are probably more apt to be drinking and driving than farming.
he's totally stereotyping. and...the WJ is totally NOT the city lol. I heart the WJ. and...most of the stuff you mentioned, I also know...most of it from girl guides (whihc they have everywhere)or because myparents do it. They garden, so i know how, mom taught me how to bake so i know how. Just because my dad wasn't out there teaching me how to bale hay, doesn't mean someone is a city clicker...i know lots of peoplke who live out in the sticks and couldn't do that if their lives depended on it. All depends on what your parents do while you are growing up in my opinion. sounds like his were farmers. either way boys are silly.
