People I don't get....

People who like only the first two seasons of The Simpsons (IE the worst two seasons not counting the past five or six seasons), because they were the most realistic....

you always complain about how the new seasons (12+) are too unrealistic

Yeah but Season 3-8 was sometimes unrealistic- but they did in doses. Like there were maybe 2 or 3 episodes a season where The Simpsons did something weird. Season 12 on is just unrealistic to the point of being absurd.

Basically, 3 through 8 (and I guess 9 too) walked a fine line between being realistic and absurd which I think a cartoon should do.
