colored just for the heck of coloring

Have you ever colored something, even though the original image has good coloring to begin with, and would do perfectly fine as it is(or maybe some contrast adjustments)..just because you feel like its lacking without some color adjustment?

I just did such a thing just now...*wonders if I am just odd or what*

Yup! Even worse is when I attempt to colour it a lot, and then after I go through so many steps, it just turns back around to something very similar to what it was originally. -__-
