That was an awesome quote.

i like that quote a lot, because it is written in exactly the style that holden caufield talked, especially phrases like "lousy goddamn" and "crumby". I think holden said "crumby" about a thousand times in that book.

(I know this is intentional, and I may just be stating the obvious. but I still like it!)

also it is kind of depressing that people think there will never be another voice like Salinger. Don't get me wrong, I liked his style a lot, but I think many people can emulate it in similar ways and be just as effective. Not to squash on his greatness though.. but you know what I mean.
