Today was the seventh day. Tomorrow will be the midpoint of the trip.
Dad woke me up around 10, with instructions to pack and be ready by 10:45. He and mom came back with the rental car around 11:15, because it was manual shift and they couldn't figure out how to get it to start. I didn't entirely notice I'd gotten extra time, but I'm glad I did, because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish repacking.
We drove for two and a half hours. I spent two of them talking TF2 headcanons with Isaac. We stopped part of the way there and I bought the best vending machine hot chocolate I've had in my entire life.
We got to the house in Gmunden around 2. I think it was 2. A woman showed us around the inside and helped us connect to the internet.
Then we went food shopping. We bought bread and cheese and tortellini and Nutella and I don't know what else.
When we got back, we ate tortellini. We bought way too much and ate less than half of what we cooked and we're going to eat the rest for lunch in days to come.
Here are some pictures of the house. I like it. The decor is linear and airy and very modern. There's a lot of white.
I started writing something that has been percolating in my head for more than a year now. I don't know if it's coming out right, but it's coming out, and that's really all that matters.
I am very upset right now. I would have been much less terse otherwise. I hope all of you are doing okay.
