Given that, if you drop a piece of buttered or jammed toast it will always land face down, and given that if you drop a cat it always lands on its feet, we can conclude that if you strap a piece of toast to a cat's back and drop it, it will fall but right before it hits the ground, begin to hover. It defies the laws of physics and friction.
