A speeding ticket can be avoided by merely following the basic speed law. One of my favorite excuses before I got a laser jammer was saying, "Officer, I was just going the flow of traffic." When police officers hear this on a traffic spot, especially if you were hit with a police laser gun, they know you know the law. Before I got all my expensive equipment I had to rely on that kind of stuff. It's been many years since I've been pulled over. Technology these days have improved well beyond radar detectors. Devices called laser jammers or 'laser diffusers' can now be purchased all over the world. They basically jam a police lidar gun, preventing the speed gun from registering a speed. How do I know they work? I run a review site on cool gadgets like laser jammers. I have real police laser guns that I've tested against the jammers. Damn, I was hoping the comment was the title to that song, because I don't remember either. You did better than I did about remembering names of bands and such... I am on a mission now...

As to speeding tickets, I've gotten deffered adjudication (sp?) in the past myself to keep tickets off my record. Of course, I needed it as I was still driving in the state and then I had to be a really good girl for several years which just sucked stinky gross balls. (Um sorry bout that)

*sigh* Me too. That's why I left this public. It would have been really easy to get the deferral thing, since I won't be in Texas at least another year... I just can't afford it. I checked with the dmv in Nevada and with my insurance company to make sure the ticket wouldn't make things more expensive and I'd have to have three tickets on my record before it did. So I'll just be a good girl for free.

Those are my two favorite Draco and the Malfoys songs! (Um, would you be interested in the whole album? I do have it. Legally lol.)

Also, I think it's so shitty that there are often extra deposits for pets, if they're allowed at all. I cannot believe that most people would allow their animals to do extensive damage to the place they are living.

My dogs tend to ruin grass but I always pay to resod the yards when we move. I don't mind at all because I consider it part of being a pet owner.
