It rained so hard yesterday I couldn't get out of the house. Nice fic! In reference to your comment above I tend to find it a lor harder to figure out Sam's internal monologue, Gene's sort of flows!

And no 27 is not too young for senileity. I'm 25 and happily more random than my 87 year old grandmother.

Ack! Gene carries on as if nothing happens! But the comment above is right - he could be doing it purely to "help Sam out", as if he was needing help having a wee or somethig. So can't wait to find out how this develops! Gene ariving to find Sam standing to attention was hilarious. And it was hot too . .

Also love details like Gene battling with the nurse, Annie bringing in the tape recorder, and poor Sam having no past or roots, which I tend to forget sometimes. Loved part one too!

God, if there's any Clocking Off fic, lead me to it! (Or we'll just have to write it ourselves)
