I am taking the entrance exam tomorrow for the nursing program I'm trying to get in to. It's basic math, grammar and reading comprehension, and I have no reason to think I won't do well, BUT if I don't get the minimum score, I can kiss getting in goodbye

I hope you pass the nursing exam.

I've been trying to convince the bidie-in that we should rescue another kitten, but he's adamant. I'm sure if he finds another poor, starving, flea-drained, dirty, stunned bag of bones by the side of the road, he'll bring her/him home.

Well, that's exactly what happened here- I've been wanting another kitten, and then he's at work and sees a free kittens sign, and he and his coworkers decide to go look at them and he decides that one more kitten is ok after all.

He of course fed me a line about finding them on the street and having to rescue them, as if I would have said no otherwise.
