John's readjusting well to Sherlock's ways. By now he has a bag full of little tricks to calm the detective when he needs to - the best places to press little kisses to, the perfect way to run his fingers through Sherlock's hair, and, if he's feeling really exasperated, the best tone at which to whine that his knee is acting up and he needs a bit of calm. Luckily he doesn't use the last one much.
He takes the mobile as it's handed over and raises an eyebrow. "A night club?" Ah well. John calls the woman and speaks to her, then glances at Sherlock with his hand over the phone. "She wants to speak to you."
Sherlock waves the phone away, feeling sulky and annoyed that this is the best he can do! He doesn't want the damn phone but with John insisting, Sherlock rolls his eyes like it's a great big conspiracy and pulls it to his ear.
"Sherlock Holmes-- Yes. Yes, your poor staff--" Such fake insincerity! "Well, don't you think that should go to missing persons...?"
He watches Sherlock, anticipating something that might spark the detective's interest. He's not disappointed. When Sherlock hangs up, John is eagerly awaiting explanation.

Sherlock pauses. A smirk forms on his face.
"Yes, be right over then."

Sherlock knew he wasn't dead. Clever bastard! He was already at the door, pulling on his coat.
"C'mon! A new game, John. Finally!"
