First class project

As most of you know, I'm enrolled in AutoCAD for apparel design at Cornell this semester. I'm enjoying it tremendously, but, like most undergrad courses, it sure does give a lot of homework! The first big class project, due monday, is to design a four inch signet/logo. There were several other design requirements, and we didn't have cart blanche ( Read more... )

Very cool logo. I took that class about 9 years ago and I hope it's improved within that time. I'm assuming it's not still taught by Anita Racine and using whatever ancient cad program we used back in '97.

PS You should learn adobe illustrator if they aren't teaching it in TXA.

Hey there :) So I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about with this class. It is, in fact, still taught by Anita Racine. I get a real kick out of her. She's SO specific. The CAD program is AutoCAD 2007, so pretty up to date.

I've messed around in Illustrator a little bit and it does look really good. I will probably try to find a class for that too at some point. Can it measure lengths of lines and arcs?
