Lazyweb: iphone/t-mobile

Is there a place in Austin where I can buy an iphone that's unlocked/supported by t-mobile? Has anyone been to the new phone store on S Congress that advertises full flashing and used phone sales w/ warranty? I might have to drop by later this morning...

t-mobile has the new google smartphones if you don't find what you're looking for

Yeah, that's not what I'm looking for though, and I know what I'm looking for is available, but thanks!

But they are readily available: http://austin.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=unlocked%20iphone

However, at those prices, it may be cheaper to just pay the cancellation fee for t-Mobile and switch to AT&T. Then you can get the phone way cheaper ($199) and have warranty.

I wouldn't recommend getting a 2G unless there's no way to swing a 3G, the 3G phones are much nicer and are required if you want the new software version coming this summer.

Yeah, I think I'm going to wait out my contract and get the 3G later this year, it should all time out nicely.
