rewrites and distractions

Humping uphill, but only slightly uphill, in the snow, but not a deep snow, on a winter day, but a good sunny winter day without much wind. The Sleeping Beauty rewrites continue, and somehow, they seem to want to be done first, before I write the end of Act 1, which is not trivial. In the twilight just-before-sleep land, I sometimes get a flash

Huh. I don't think of it as being "hard", but it's not "easy" in the sense of "like the songs just fell off a turnip truck" or "woke up in the middle of the night with the full structure in my head, reached for a pencil, and basically transcribed the whole song
