MY GOOD GOD! I MET JC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My whole experience, which was HEAVEN, and concert recap are behind a cut because I know I tend to ramble when it comes to him and I don't wanna fill your friends pages!
So the day starts off at around 9am when we head to the beach. We get there, walk around, and see this small line starting to form.... which ends up being the line to meet JC. Some girls where there since 6 which I think is fucking insane because you couldn't like "talk" to him, it was one autograph and go. Lonnie made sure of that.
So we stand in line, meet a couple of fans, get dorky, yada yada yada. Then, at around 11:45, the DJs start coming out to pump the crowd. Carolina, the Wild on Y girl, was halarious, because she kept making this one girl near me scream like a psycho and I cracked up everytime she did. Danay from Innosense was there, it seems she now WORKS at Y-100 so I met her and she's the sweetest thing ever! I knew her online before, but in person, she's even cooler! Mucho love for Danay!
Finally, after all the crowd pumping, Carolina says " Get Ready! He's Here" and, of course, every girl and their mommma, including myself, yell at the top of their lungs! He walks in, in jeans, a black shirt and these sun glasses. WHOA. He was looking...amazing, to say the least. So, the cops start letting fans in, 10 at a time. After about 3 groups, I start getting really nervous. I mean, fuck, I was meeting my idol. I didn't want to cry... but I felt as if I was. We finally are let in, and Carolina is talking about how no one has cried yet, and Mandi and I said that I would probably be the first one. She laughed, and then saw Mandi's mom, who is also a JC fan and was 3 days before giving birth. So we all figured that I would cry, and baby Alyssa was coming OUT!
Then Lonnie yells "NEXT" and I go to the table. He says "Hi, how you doin?" I smile and say good. He looks up and smiles and then looks back down, asks me if I want my TV Guide signed, I answer yes, and he signs it. I lean on the table, because Carolina says that although he couldn't pose for pics, you could lean and take a quickie. I thought he was going to be facing down but when he saw me lean, he looks up and we took the pic.
I WAS 1 INCH FROM JC. I thank him, smile, and take my TV guide from the table. I walked outside, and sure enough, cried. Not like bawling, but I teared up. 6 years is a lot to wait and even though it was for a second, I'm honestly VERY happy. JC hangs around the store for a little bit after that, taking pics with the people and just being an ADORABLE goober! After a while, I was hanging out with Danay and Johnny and we were all getting dorky around Denise's pregnant belly. And I also met my girls
comeseekme and
mandahugandkiss :D *waves*
We left the shoe store at around 2-ish, and after a couple of pit stops, we make it to the venue. We hang out, try to find Kenny Walker (with no luck), and at 5:30 make our way inside. They started on time, which was VERY impressive. Some girl performs, a winner of some contest. No one really payed attention, which sucked, but she was VERY good.
The DJs are introduced. Maroon 5 performs, and they're pretty damn good. I liked them. 4 songs total, a good set. Jason Mraz comes next, and he does his thing. I'm not a big fan... but his songs are pretty cool. Again, a 4 song set. They announce JC is next. My heart is already going crazy, but I wait patiently. The chalkboard is rolled out, and the dancer comes out to do the intro to ADIDAS. He busts out of the chalkboard and does the song, which I sung along to and everyone though I was nuts! Then he talked a little and said something about how much he loves Miami cuz he was in New York and it was freezing! He did "Blowin Me Up" next, which again, Mandi and I sang along to. Then he introduces "Some Girls" and the crowd gets into it! He's looking VERY fine, might I add. And he's so adorable because he gets so INTO his performance. The best part though, is right at the end, when he drops down to his knees and rolls himself up to standing position again. I almost DIED! He looked "in my general direction" at one point, but I swear, that man has a way of making you feel like you're the only person in that room. He had the shortest set out of all the performers, which sucked, but hell, those three songs were AMAZING!
Then Simple Plan came on, did all of their OVERPLAYED songs, but I liked their set. They're fun as all hell and they really hype up the crowd. Enrique Iglesias was next. Man, I didn't like him, but after he called a fan on stage and sang "Hero" to her, groped her, and sang in her ear, and then at the end, grabbed her hands, put them on his ass, and then kissed her.... well, I grew some love! Mandi and I went on this whole big thing about how if JC or Joey were to do that to us...LOL. Well, I'm not going into detail about that. ;)
We hung out with Jessica and Manda after that and they shared their NSYNC stories with us. These girls are freaking blessed. Living in Orlando pays off, but I guess we moved at the wrong time. Oh well, when they all get together again, we'll see more of them, I guess.
Thats not the point though. I get so off track.
Michelle Branch was after that. You could hear Clay rehearsing his songs when she got onstage. Like his mic was ON and you could totally hear the entire thing. We all laughed and Michelle was cracking up too. So Michelle performs, and does all her cool songs. She's pretty good live. Definently want to see her again.
Then, the next person I was waiting for. CLAY!!!!!!! Yes, Lourdes was a closet Clay fan, as I told Manda and Jess, but after last night, I'm OUT! He did like 4 songs? I sang along and he looked so cute. AND HIS ACCENT MAKES ME MELT! I love when he speaks! After that it was Sean Paul and Chingy... :x
Chingy was the main person a lot of people went to see. Whatever, I didn't stay for him because I HATE his songs so I would have probably just thrown my boots at him or something.
So the concert ended, I got home at about 1...and I told my story to my family.
And yeah, so my day was very eventful! And I honestly hope that this isn't the last time I get to see JC. He's AMAZING live and I really want to go to one of his solo shows. I'm waiting for Hard Rock Live because, as we all know, Lourdes WILL be there! I grew so much love for him last night and January 27 needs to get here NOW!
And dude, in person, that man is GORGEOUS. Words cannot describe how beautiful he is.
Damn! Thats long! I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't read it all! But I hope you do...because it was amazing! Actually, a lot of the artists last night were amazing! I can't wait for Jingle Ball 2004.
Maybe JC or NSYNC will go again? A girl can only dream....
PS: Yes, I understand that I've liked JC for 1/3 of my life. Yes, I understand that Pop music might be lame to some. But I like it and thats all that matters. So yeah...pbbbbttt to you! ;)
PSS: Thank you x 16138979875164616549794161 to Mandi for being the BEST friend that she is and taking me to meet him.I don't think I'll ever be able to repay you for how happy this made me. I'll have you meet Joey again one day, I promise. ;) <3 <3 <3
