A friend of mine is in love with his friend, but she is running away, because she cannot face him. She does not want to be hurt if they fall apart, and so she would rather never know what

Sometimes, in the *imperfection* you find out it can be even better than you thought it could be.

And if I had it (dating) to do over again, I'd take a *lot* more chances. Because where are you if you don't take chances?

Very true. Sometimes you love, not in spite of the flaws, but because of them.
And I totally would take more chances, but I have an all consuming fear of regection. Which is why I was so quiet here and on FIA for so long.

And see how much you're loved? It pays off. Were you the one (I was reading the forum posts this morning or last night) that said you blew an audition? Audition for what? Are you a singer or an actress? (Because if auditioning isn't taking chances, I don't know what is)
I've been auditioning for 13 years, and I still get a little sick about it!

I sing and act, but I mostly do musical theater. I was so terrified... but I did get a call back, surprisingly (I was shaking so hard I started to waver). I have done many auditions and musicals/plays, but this is the first that I *really* wanted.
