Check out Freeway. Lots of features but - and a very important but - shallow learning curve. They have a free 30-day trial. www.softpress.com

Hmm... just realized it might be a good time to revisit the plugins and such...

ooh, that "shallow learning curve" got me all excited, plus I want my site to be all gorgeous like yours, but I have a PC! phooey.

D'oh! I should've checked that, yeah. Sorry.

Hey, with all the money, time and energy you'll save, you could buy a mac and switch over! Heh.

FWIW, I've been trying to learn on DW, and it's been hard. There are a lot of assumptions about what you know. Like, fuck if I know what's up with CSS, but I'm trying to learn. But it gets frustrating, and then I give up.

My site was created entirely with DW by someone who knows what the hell she's doing.

I have a friend who swears by GoLive.

I know, big help, huh?

I ended up going with GoLive, because it was $100 cheaper than DW & I use a bunch of other Adobe software, so I liked the integration aspect.

I'm trying to work my way through Classroom in a Book, & it's going fine, but I'm sort of cheerfully resigned to the fact that as soon as I try to work on my own site, all tutorial knowledge will vanish & I won't know how to do anything.

CSS is one of those concepts that just eludes me, like calculus.
