knitting: patchwork blanket
finished sewing & edging the blanket, & it looks like this:
I love! love! the crochet edging. here's a closeup:
I'm pretty happy with it, although I go back & forth between thinking that the seaming is funky & handmade looking & plain old clumsy. I desperately want to learn how to crochet blanket squares together so they're flat, but can find no good info. but, there it is! finished before the baby was born, even!
