When he evolved, so did his confidence, he wasn't afraid to show it either. He tends to keep Brendan on the right path, knocking some sense into the teen if he goes out of hand. But all the same, he's proud to have such a strong Trainer. He does everything he can to prove himself, like the Trainer does in turn. The two may as well be siblings, with how they act.

• Hyper Beam [Normal]→ Kiba was really spunky and energetic as a Poochyena, thinking very highly of himself-- especially being a special of his kind. He probably let it go to his head too much, so easily disappointed when he lost and would even go as far as to ignore orders. However, evolving has matured him, so he isn't much as a bratty pup he was before. He takes to being more calmer, but still aggressive to those he's unfamiliar with. He's excruciatingly loyal, and will be more than happy to bite someone if they dare talk bad about his Trainer. Only Kiba gets the luxury of teasing him, so he thinks.
Chiyo (Delcatty)

• Strength [Normal]→ Chiyo is the more motherly and gentle one of Brendan's team, she takes to looking out for any young ones and sometimes takes them into her care. She often dreams of being an actual mother, but her joy in participating in cute contests distracts her enough. She enjoys teasing other Pokemon, using her charm to play around which sometimes put Brendan in sticky situations once the Pokemon snaps out of it. She never intends to harm throughout her playing, however. She loves being brushed and always tries to have the attention on her.

Especially with others in the team, but will battle for the sake of others and his Trainer. He's highly independent, and rather enjoys sticking by Latias' side. However Brendan only has Latios, which often brings the Latios to be lonely. He isn't very trusting when it comes to other humans/Trainers, only unless Brendan shows they can be will he trust them.
Retsu (Rayquaza)
