You are the biggest nerd. I love it. I remember watching "Seeing Things" with my parents on the CBC when I was younger. Where else but the CBC, can guys like Louis Del Grande and Bruno Girusi (sp?) star in prime time television programs? Also, I love the fact that Bravo is airing it. I thought Bravo was 'sposed to be the "arty" channel. Are '80's Canadian TV shows arty? What's next on Bravo, "Beachcombers"? "King of Kensington"? "Littlest Hobo"? I'm not complaining, I just think it's funny. Louis Del Grande. Ha ha! I wonder if he ever won a Gemini?
oh, it's arty alright...strange moog-y spy music when lou 'sees things', the complexity of living as a stressed-out reporter/clairvoyant super-detective. all this on top of dealing with marital difficulties in a decidedly arty cabbagetown apartment of the early 80s. layers, my friend, it's all about the layers, oh yes, and it's also all about louis del grande.
hi bryan! sorry i didn't get in touch in time for this weekend, i would've actually loved to have gotten together with you. i was pretty busy though, helping my mom with a workshop she was organizing, and just trying to do "real" school work...which i'm still struggling with. anyways i hope we can get together the next time you come into town...thanks for the article, lili said she has it for me, so i'm going to go pick it up soon. talk to you soon....
