Long time no write, ne?

Perhaps I was inspired by Jett and her recent entry, or perhaps I'm just too tired to stop myself from doing idiot things my idiot mind thinks of. But, this is a bit self-reflective, and I feel a bit lonely enough to do it.

I think I'm going to wear myself out. Or, rather, I know it. I feel it already, and the school year's not even a quarter over.

I understand what it is to be tired after doing what you think amounts to little or no work. Though I think Sker understands it better since he actually has a job. ^.^|| You do seem to be pushing yourself really hard. And like I always think when I see those leapster videogame commercials, we cannot have our brains set to 'on' 24/7. There needs to be downtime. Time when you're not thinking of homework, work work, volunteering or "doing what needs doing". Sure it's not good to let that stuff go forever, and just blow everything off. But I think you would really benefit from assigning yourself maybe 1 or 2 hours every day for you to take care of yourself.

That could mean anything you want it to mean. Talking to friends online, taking a nap, a hot bath, drawing...just as long as it destresses you and helps you feel more calm and at peace. You're 18, you shouldn't be working yourself like a 39 year old :þ

I can only wonder how I'll be working at 39.

Also, I do take a couple hours. But, it's like, I don't get any time in-between activity to rest and regenerate from the last one.
I will take your advice, though. I need some meditation and general de-stress time, besides constantly doing homework/workwork/volunteerwork. Because, my "me" time has been reading our assigned books from English. Pathetic, right? xD

Funmomknife!? O: Do want.

Don't worry about your ramblings. If it comes to a choice between your personal health and your other activities, health should win. You might need to cut some stuff out if you're getting that much stress and no rest in between ._.

Also: I just realized my first response was super ramble-y and had no context to anything. Sorry.
