* Always call Mother to ask if she is buying bread or not so that we can save the trouble of buying too much bread and waste money.
* Never be rude to the parents.
* Do my calling properly. - prepare that primary lesson well so as to do it well. So that you won't hurt others too.
* Plan what I need to do. So that I don't end up doing things the wrong sequence and encumbering myself.
* Study scriptures in the morning. - more energy to concentrate and not fall asleep.
* Prepare to go out early. - more time to think about what to wear and more time to do make-up.
* Be self-reliant. - sweep that floor and iron those clothes!
* Always wipe the shampoo from my face and eyes first before soaping my body. -- eyes won't sting.
* Sleep early. Wake up early.
* Learn to make decisions. -- trust God that He'll guide you.
* Always bring the keys with you when you're going out of the house to dispose trash -- in case you accidentally locked the front door, you'll still have the keys to unlock the door and get yourself in.
* Keep the clothes (which are hanged out to dry) at around 4+pm to 5+pm. -- prevents the smells of neighbors cooking below from sticking to the clothes.
* Paying honest tithes makes you richer than a billionaire! (quote: "I'd rather wake up poor than die rich!")
* Internships help you gain experiences but they are boring!
* Eat fishes that are from the sea, not from the aquarium where someone is keeping the fishes, cos' the water that these fishes stay in are usually treated with chemicals to kill bacterial in the water, so the fishes in these waters tend to be more unhealthy because their skin are stained with traces of the chemicals. Fishes from the sea are more natural and doesn't have the stink that fishes in aquariums have. -- Toilet-cleaning Auntie in TP.

* Save up lots of money for May-July, so that I can buy a lot of things at a bargain during GSS!!!
* Never wear expensive or very branded clothes to church, cos' you might be so conscious of keeping your clothes clean (cos' they are expensive or branded -- and you need them to be worth every penny you spent on them) that you forget you need to give service to others in church. (which frequently involves getting down and dirty. Literally.)
*Never eat leftover sushi with a Starbucks ice-blend. You'll
pay dearly.
*You will only be happier when you know what you're at work and when you're righteous. (the prophet Alma said: "Wickedness never was happiness")
* Respect is something you give your parents but don't expect them to give it back to you 100%. They deserve the respect.
