Sorry for not updating for so long my dear LJ...
I've been facing major stress lately. Sources of it include: FYP-01, this *SCAPE article that I have to do in place of an exam for this module Introduction to Print, Understanding Tests, personal time management problems, punctuality at church issues, my own work ethics, and etc.
Today, I finally submitted my 'Special Weblog' for FYP. Why special? Cos' the facilitators say "it gives you the last chance to explain yourself for all things that you've done for this FYP. In under 500 words".
In other words, it's a semi-"rants-about-your-teammates" weblog.
Right.
So anyway, now that FYP is done, *SCAPE article is over, UT 2s are also over, I have less burdens on my shoulders... must continue to work hard for all the things I still lack.
But I think after this period of stress and tight-schedule, I kind of miss the way my brain is occupied with things to do...
So, I have decided to start doing some other things. Positive things, that is.
I've been saying that I want to clean my room right? Well, I've started a bit yesterday lah, after I came back from a long day of school trying to finish up our team's FYP deliverables and final report.
And hmm, it does a bit of wonder to how my wardrobe feels now. And I am kinda glad to have done that.
Moving on, just the other night on Sunday, I took a while to imagine what my room would become if I have the chance to re-do it.
Well, my "new" room would have:
- A tall shelving unit where the ground shelf would be slightly larger so that I can fit my Abby teddy bear in, then it will also have all my files, books, magazines, all the other soft toys that I have that hold too many memories for me to bear to throw away, and my CDs and VCDs and DVDs. So they'll all be concentrated in one shelving system.
- Creamy white or blue (yes, I still love blue) walls with a huge framed picture of a temple, a framed picture of Jesus Christ, a framed copy of 'The Living Christ' and 'Family: A Proclamation to The World'.
- I might have glow-in-the-dark stars scattered everywhere on the edge of my walls and ceilings... I might also have a seat-at-the-corner beside my shelving unit, complete with a wall lamp. Can have quiet reading there.
- My desk, shelving unit, and vanity table would "flow". Meaning, it would be in a continuous arrangement. If you can imagine what it's like. And they would all be on the left side of my room.
My bed and wardrobe would remain unchanged because they are still functional for me. But maybe my wardrobe's wood colour would be changed to either a darker or a lighter shade.
I still am pretty happy with the fact that my room has no air-conditioner. HAHAHA, a bit of green lifestyle FTW! XD
Suddenly, saving up seems much more urgent. :\
And then, back in May, I pre-ordered an Arashi single and their new CD album. It would be my birthday and Xmas present for myself this year...(read: they are so expensive! *jaw drops*)
So yup, that's it to my life for now... Will update more often! And oh, I have 7 - 8 months' worth of photos to post on my continu-ally. Hurr, good luck to me. -.-"
Speaking of photos, I just saw the photos from Manda's FB of her trip to the Jordan Temple in Utah, USA. The song, "Families can be together forever", came into my mind while viewing the photos. How nice ne.
Okie dokes, mata ne!
