In a flash, you can only catch so much

It just dawned on me just as I was reading the scriptures just now: It's October already.

I didn't realise time passed by so quickly. So quickly, that it's already the "mad rush time" to get university applications in.

As for myself, I want to go for a university education. But my family don't seem to be supportive of me. They don't think I'm 'studying material'.

And true, a lot of times I don't like studying. But I think I really want a university education. It's the only thing that might get me anywhere meaningful in my career.

However, behind all this talk about university education and studying abroad, it all comes down to 2 things: results and money.

I just got my results yesterday. I got a 3.10 for GPA. I slipped by 0.9 from last semester.

I can't go on like this man...

It's already the last semester. If I don't study hard, I really won't go anywhere.

And also: Money.

I'm trying not to let it bug me (just telling myself to take it step by step), but it does.

Some people my age, they are already working part-time to support themselves and maybe saving up for their university too.

As for me? I worked. Here and there.

But my savings are little (I spend more than I save) and the concept to save for university/ future purposes came too little, too late.

So now I think I'm doomed.

But I am really thankful to my dear mandaloh and creovation cos' they listened to me and gave great advices.

Thank you my dear favouritest people. (: Thanks to dear Kandace Lim too for being so encouraging to me to finish YW PPP. Working on it...

So right now, I shall focus on what's important:
- Finish YW PPP.
- Finish FYP.
- Finish Poly.

The rest, are up to God's will for me and my patriarchal blessing.

Yup, shall do that. And try not to panic.

Just checked my school schedule for the semester. I have a lesser load of 3 subjects to do this semester. I will start school on Thursday and not Tuesday as planned. And I'll have school every Monday, Thursday and Friday.

I did 5 last semester. It was enjoyable, but really tough.

Yeah, so tough that I slipped? Hurr, I don't think so.

Just my lazyness causing me to fail all these years.

Sigh.

Oh wells, at least there is General Conference to look forward to later. (:
