I liked it. The way your writing style portrayed the scenes really brought out the sweetness (and bittersweetness, sometimes), of everything. All in all, a very good read. Good job!
Oh man, I've been yearning for a HOLiC OT3 fic like this one, where it's a lot about codependence on all fronts. It's all so sweet and I can't even say which part is my favorite, because Himawari and Doumeki sneaking into Watanuki's room at night is simply adorable, as was the Watanuki-gets-sick one. I think my favorite was the ending, because really, who else would Himawari ever want or need when she has Watanuki-kun and Doumeki-kun?
Eeee thank you! I just love the dynamic that the three have between them in canon- "co-dependence on all fronts" as you put it- and I am so glad that you enjoyed how I wrote it.
And yay, I'm happy that the last one came across well. I was a little worried about if people were going to be able to read into it the way I was trying to present it, and you hit the nail on the head, so. ♥
I really enjoyed this! The way Doumeki moved in was just perfect -- the futon aleady there, the copy of the key already made... and Watanuki denying for all he's worth. So very sweet. And I'd read it as platonic for now... but only barely, and one day the storm will come and it will never be that way again. *(grins*
I'll admit, it was when I got the idea for how Doumeki was going to move in that I went '...okay I'm writing it.' Good to see that you liked that part, then! Thanks for the comment!
This was wonderful. I especially enjoyed, um, all of it. XD
I love how it's purposefully ambiguous on whether it's platonic and the friendship's so deep the boundaries get a little messed up, or an entirely different thing.
He knows that Himawari isn’t really afraid of the dark, and howls at Doumeki for not having a reason to intrude.
Oh, Doumeki. XD I really like the mental image of him just brazenly showing up. This was such a great read. Thank you for sharing! :)
And I'm happy the ambiguity came through; it was difficult trying not to make it seem too shippy but showing that they really do all love each other, platonically or otherwise.
"Oh, Doumeki", indeed. You cause Watanuki so much BLINDING RAGE. XDDD I really love Doumeki so much; writing him was such fun. Which is kind of funny, as he only has two lines. Silence ftw! XD
