Condon & Canet (love)!
i had one week to do tons of homework and i've done very little,
so i'm doing them on this saturday night... Ditto. It's crazy that Ryan cuts those papers out when the same effect could be made with a marker!

well it's not exactly the same - when you see it up close, you know, and it just makes it that much more special, because of all the effort involved.
i made cards for old people, and the ones with cutouts (nothing as precise though - doves, hearts, flowers) were fantastic for those who were blind, they could imagine the card in their head and feel it with their fingers.

I meant to add that it make it more special. Everyone's an artist or a illustrator these days, so it's lovely for someone to want to dedicate their efforts (and career!) to such an obscure niche. I hadn't thought about that idea - tracing each cut-out line with fingers, it's almost mirroring the making process itself. There are some who do life-sized versions, which is truly remarkable.

i think it's beautiful while it's stormy, but once it just sits on the sidewalk, then it's depressing.
