I love some weekends too much. On Friday I went costume shopping and hit the same used book store again. Erica and I went to a little haunted house put together by a dorm on campus, where one of the zombies scared the hell out of me by greeting me by name. Hurrah for weekend overappreciation! I spent my Friday and Saturday napping, walking along Lake Michigan, browsing bookstores, watching a silent movie, dancing at a claustrophobic Halloween party, and ignoring an essay, a chem lab, and two problem sets.

Essays are overrated (depending on what the subject is). So are labs and problem sets (unless they're discrete math, in which case they should be cool but just end up being kind of hard).

The short-sleeved jacket that is the main part of my costume is black, and I have no long sleeved things that would contrast with it appropriately. My current plan is to wear several layers underneath it (smaller short-sleeved shirts) and, if still necessary, wear a fall / winter coat on top of my costume but take it off while indoors.

Did I tell you that its prototype was sketched during a lecture by soujiro_seta? It's the best thing I've gotten out of Intro to World History so far. (Not that it's a bad class; it's just that it's History, so I don't absorb enough of it.)
