Well if he actually pinch/smack the butt, then it might be kinda hard to see him as a minor, no?

You are right though. Supposed to just say, "Please do not touch my BACK blah blah blah..." :)

Those sessions sound really useful. Watching a recording of my final presentation when I was on exchange in NY made me realise just how different I sound from "native" speakers and how hard it might be for people unfamiliar with my lazy pronunciation.

Even in informal social situations there was an urge to use "lah". But I resisted it and said what I said without the "lah" - which kinda backfires because if you take away the "lah" you take away some of the meaning and sometimes sentences sound rude without the "lah" as a filler.

Hope ur having fun

I guess in order for your sentences not to sound too rude, a lot of it lies in the intonation..

There are three ways to politely engage another person: visual (through your body language), verbal (your choice of words) and vocal (the use of appropriate tone). Consideration of each of the above should make you sound more approachable, without the use of Singlish. :)

I'm having loads of fun! Keke... Thanks for asking! :)
