don't apologize...i was just being an ass, for no particular reason...except maybe because i don't feel like writing in my own blog...so i figured i'd mess around over here. if it makes you feel better, for like a split second i was like thinking of the borg from star trek...until i realized that the word i was thinking of in that case was assimilation...which is kind of like a synonym for adaptation... and if your parents were like the borg and they assimilated me...is that just as good as adoption? resistance is futile and whatnot...
