Looks like j. Fillion was correct, here I am a block north of Detroit in a house I have recently bought and I have child + proto-marriage. Go me.

So yeah, I bought a house, I have a job I hate, a drive to work I hate, and a very stereotypical relationship. Me four years ago would be kicking my present arse all over this blighted city, but instead ( Read more... )

I'm amazed how what you think in life is going to happen, usually the exact opposite is what actually transpires. At least you have that cute kid :)

When you said a very stereotypical relationship I was thinking that you two hate each other and long for the time when you can escape the confines of the other ;)

i'm sooo happy to see you're alive! and i agree- it's amazing how nicely all the crap you never planned on seems to fit into your life. at the moment, i'm an unemployed homemaker, living with paul and the 4 kids... mini-van and all! i'm driving kids to school, packing lunches, and teaching kids to use the potty. and yet it totally rules! here's to happiness. xo.
