When I first got to my school, I felt overwhelmed because the school is incredibly demanding and my classmates are all brilliant. But through enslaving myself to literature, writing, philosophy and environmental sciences, I've found a sense of peace with my ability to apply myself to subjects and actually make something of it. One of my favorite writers is my professor and he thinks I can pack my bags for a Columbia MFA and publication. My philosophy professor swears I should add Philosophy as a major and apply for publication in philosophy magazines and wants me to meet his "friends" Slavoj Zizek and Gary Snyder. I'm actually accomplishing these once distant dreams I used to have and I'm living with an incredible drive.

I think Anthony said you wanted to go to an ivy league school after you graduate, no? Columbia is amazing, obviously, but you might want to check out Naropa's MFA program entitled "Jack Kerouac's school for disembodied poets" that was founded by Allen Ginsberg.

Well, from what I have read of your work, you definitely have the talent to move on to Columbia and gain notoriety.

For myself, though, I want to go on to Columbia, as well, but for film. But, I'm still willing to check out some writing programs. :)
