in all our attempts to be different, to be unique, to step outside of boundaries...how many of us end up the same as everyone else? is it even possible to be truly defiant of societal norms, to be truly different from the people you meet?
that scares me.
because i think i have an idea what the answer is.

Mine was about how no one is unique, but that that is human nature, because with every difference we try to have, we really are just creating a common bond with someone else who shares that
I mean, who wants to be the ONLY person who listens to a certain band. But...your collective interests and feelings are like no one else's.

what is identity and can it be truly changed? can it ever truly take shape and be recognized within the confines of society?
i don't think it can be which makes everything we think and do, all those bonds, rather superficial which in turn gives everything that we think "define" us the potential to be the same as someone elses.
so what separates us? identities we can't ever see? or if you believe it, find?
