"When I took art classes at university, I railed against being expected to be creative on Tuesdays and Thursdays from one to four."

Railed! I can see it now.

rpeate:Fiend, I defy thee! with a calm, fixed mind,
All that thou canst inflict I bid thee do;
Foul Tyrant both of Gods and Humankind,
One only being shalt thou not subdue.
Rain then thy plagues upon me here,
Ghastly disease, and frenzying fear;
And let alternate frost and fire
Eat into me, and be thine ire
Lightning, and cutting hail, and legioned forms
Of furies, driving by upon the wounding storms...

Art teacher: Um... okay. But you're still getting a D.

"You seem to be a bit bitter."

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I'm not sure that your narrowing of the goalposts isn't self-interested.

Don't reactionary nut bags also try to sue people?

Perhaps, but this is also an action not evidenced by rpeate in the offending entry.

What specific statement(s) in this entry do you find analogous to the death threats issued by reactionary nutjob theists on twitter?

Antitheism is hardly representative of atheism. Even so, a fair portion of the nuts in antitheism don't think rpeate is completely rational and sane.

I'd imagine most theists don't find the reactions of some of the people in #godisnotgreat to be completely rational and sane.

But note a large proportion of atheists seem to support rpeate in the comments to his post... Shortly before he tells a first nations person that they don't understand oppression like he does.

You either have to swallow the hateful (often Islamaphobic) misrepresentations of your beliefs, or you're a hysterical crazy religious person.

You must mix in unfortunate crowds, or at the very least you actively seek what confirms your opinions.

Either that I am fortunate enough to be reading 'blogs by people who were often amused by his turn of phrase on religious matters, but strongly disagreed with his imperialist policies.
