*Ashton sizes the creature up for a second, Ururun starts to say something but he quickly shushes him*
Hm. Do those eyetalks move independently? If they do, it would probably be necessary to put at least one of their eyes out with spells, knives or bullets, depending on what one has on hand. If not, hmm...I suppose they have a blind spot? Though getting close enough to exploit it would be pretty hard...
Do they hunt in packs? Would they react like sharks do when one of them starts bleeding? That way a hit-and-run strategy might work well.
Riddick laughed a bit. "Your right, they do have a blind spot. And as for getting close enough to exploit it. That is tricky, but possible."
"Commonly, yes, much like bats, except much bigger prey. And if they are hungry enough, they will attack their wounded. I think you get 10 points for pointing that out." He finished.

Another year, another pointless class. At least this one should be more interesting than the rest...well aside from Masters class. Screw calling him professor. He decided to start some fucking drama, therefore he wasn't going to be given respect. Axel had decided it was something to earn with him as he was superior...some how. He shifted in his seat some, staring at the creature with interest.
The Organization could use that as a guard dog. He snickered, before running his fingers through his spiked red hair.
"Don't you think it's a bit dangerous bringing in a creature like that on the first day? You know not everyone is going to be able to stare that thing down knowing that it could easily kill them." He smirked some, leaning his hand against his cheek. "Unless I'm mistaken, this isn't a class where death is an option as we still have schooling to do."
Sure Axel was curious about the creature but he was also concerned about his life.

Riddick arched an eyebrow, gazing at the student beyond the bars. "If you think I have any intention of releasing the creature so you may make an attempt to stare him down, you are sadly mistaken. Two trips to Azkaban are enough, thank you."
Yawning, he pulled off his goggles and looked at the student with his glowing purple eyes. "I was going to hold him back while everyone tries, but if there is anyone that would prefer the safety of the opposite side of the cage, be my guest. That won't earn your grades. Now, are you going to do this or stay back?" He asked without any intention of trying to unsult the student.

Two trips to Azkaban? Sounded a lot like Xemnas. He stretched his arms some before rising to his feet. This wouldn't be so bad right? If this thing was ferocious he had plenty of experience because of his superior. Not that he was going to admit that he reported to the man - that would cause unnecessary rumors as who the Organization was. Axel near rolled his eyes at his comment, and rose from his seat.
“And you didn’t learn from the first trip,” He muttered to himself. He half debated removing his robe, and eventually he did. He set it upon the chair he was in and slowly approached the cage. “Pfft, I never said that I wasn’t going to do this. It was merely a question.” Another smirk crossed his lips. “Lets do this.”
And with that he looked over the creature once more, and then back to his professor. Was he to wait about opening the cage? Was he going to step inside and do this? Either way he was fine with it. Axel wasn’t chicken.

"The second trip was false accusations from some fucker who was out for an attempt at revenge." He said, hearing the student rather well even though he probably didn't intend for him to hear that comment. "Alright then." He waited patiently, holding the growling Komodo Felis by the collar.
Pulling the knife out of the sheath on his belt, he pointed it at the entrance to the cell and it swung open from the inside. Immediately, Fenris tried to lash out at Axel, but Riddick held him back with little effort.

I suppose it works for us to get along every now and then, otherwise, we would be just horrible co-workers, what a bad enviroment for the students!
I am still better than you But yes, do take good care of my creatures, your hands I do not mind so much but some of those students are not the brightest in the class. I have no problem with the students getting bitten, but it will be by there own accord.

I am sure they can! So next time I see you, I will start something ok? >D
Oh I will. You best not. Joseph always seems to have trouble understanding the rule that I dont want them completely worn out by the time he is done with them and his lessons/training~ Whichever.
Terry took a few notes before he looked towards the cage. "Man.. Okay, might as well try this." He set his paper aside, stood up and walked towards the slight line of students. "It shouldn't be too hard.".
Once Terry's turn came around, Riddick opened the cage once again, motioning him foreward. Fenris once again lashed towards him, but was easily held back by Riddick.
Riddick watched him intently, seeing if he would back down, or face the fear head on which was the main point of the lesson.

Terry stepped forward and almost jumped as the animal lashed towards him but remembered what the professor had said about the animal exploiting something like that.
He took a breath, straightened his shoulders and looked at the animal's eyes. He didn't glare, he just gave the animal a steady gaze. "I can do this.. No problems.. Yet."
Fenris's lashing turned into a loud growl. Eventually, it stopped after a very intense couple of minutes and Riddick was able to release it without it lashing out at him. Instead, approached, examining Terry out of curiosity.
"I'm not too sure on that minor detail. I believe it is drawn to movement compared to no movement at all sicne I've seen them go after moving prey as opposed to prey that stood still."

Keep telling yourself that. Don't worry, I don't have much of an intention of doing anything violent with them.

"Would it be possible that though it's eyesight is keen, it relies on movement to completely locate its prey?"
