so i though i'd say, i'm alive! my dad's alive (and out of the hospital- thanks for your prayers)! my dog is still alive! and i have lots of homework. the end.

the bad news: my dad is in the hospital =(

the good news: he's not in any pain, and he'll most likely go home tomorrow if they can figure out what's going on and why the incision from his procedure last week isn't healing right. and i think we should know what's going on by this afternoon. i don't get the impression there is any reason for alarm.

1. my life has been so blindingly filled with homework and studying lately i'm beginning to realize in the few spots of social activity i expereince my "stories" about my day are becoming increasingly dull (minus tragedies of  course). the sad part is i don't realize their dull until i'm telling someone and i don't hear my usual responses on the ( Read more... )

cookie seems fine right now, the hope is that his bloodwork comes back looking good. i'll let ya know what we find out.

the most disturbing thing just happened. i just woke up about 30 minutes ago (3:20 am) to Cookie having what i think was a stroke. i thought he was going to die. i thought i had woken up just in time to see him die. he was shaking/convusling and breathing heavy and crying and making weird sounds (that's what woke me up). at first i thought he was ( Read more... )

one paper down. two to go! this one was the longest (8 pages!). so we're in good shape i think. the other two aren't due til monday. oh how i miss summer vacation!
