GARO has eaten my brain!!
i've watched episode 1-9 in a day... since ep. 10 just aired in japan 1.30am this morning, i'm beginning to suffer from withdrawal...
* makai knights
- i absolutely love the idea of having more than one of them out there, kouga sama is the knight of the east, and the rei/zero is from the west... so does that mean there's 2 more of them? i would hope so...
- there seems to be some kind of law/system that governs the knights, and the knights each have their own territory to protect, etc. but other than that, it also seems that they don't really co-operate with each other all that much... i'm so interested in finding out more about how they are organised and their history, of the makai knights in general...
- after killing 100 horrors, garo was given the opportunity to go through an ordeal in order to gain the ability to use gouten, his golden horsey matching his armour... is it the same with all makai knights?
- there seems to be different ranks/title with the makai knights, garo is supposed to be the highest rank/title, and zero seems to be of a lesser rank... are these rank/title simply passed down from father to son, or could one earn it in other ways? so far from the show, it seems that it's more like a title that one is born with... in a sense that's kinda sad, cos i would prefer a system where the knights could earn their ranks than simply inheriting it...
* madou ring/necklass
- so it seems that it could come in different form, ring & necklass... i wonder is there a madou bracelet out there somewhere... my fav. still being the ring thou ^^
- they also have their own names and personalities... so far i'm loving the snarky remarks from zaruba... the female madou necklass on zero is cool too but not as much fun ^^
* the music
- so the music (and op) is done by JAM project... no wonder i like it so much ^^
- the theme song (when the horsey appears) seems to be sang by the guy who also sang dragon ball z op (and tons of other anime songs) which for the moment i could not remember his name... but it rocks ^^
* the monster
- i love the monster designs... all of them!!
- i love the fact that each of the horror seems to be attracted to a different kind of human frailty... i.e. endless possibilities for different stories/settings ^^
* rei vs kouga
- 2 trench coat wearing blade swinging hotties for the price of one ^^... yes, it's v. difficult to pick one over the other... but kouga still has slightly more votes from me at the moment*shoots self*
- i wonder what is the real reason for rei to get kouga... and why is that his info is not written in gonza's book... this kind bothers me... (thinking in terms of dark jedi knight aka sith lord xddd)
