post ep. 10 GARO rant...
am 'fangirling' for garo, once again *snickers*
ok...after waiting/salivating for 5 whole days... ep. 10 was kinda a mixed experienced...
1/ what is wrong with that kaoru girl? why she has to keep getting these wierd jobs? and why couldn't she stay in one job? i know it's a tokusatsu show after all and it's all done in the name of fan service for the male (majority) audience... but is it really necessary to have her work in a different job in every episode? i mean at least she could have stayed at the cafe as a waitress, i'm sure a lot of guys would not complain to see her in that maid outfit again... but it's just getting a bit annoying to see her doing a different job every single episode...
2/ i love konitan, he was the reason why i started watching this in the first place, and brooding konitan + tight leather pants = me drooling in buckets... but that doesn't mean he can't wear other stuff! it's similiar situation with the kaoru girl is it? he's teh hot hero i.e. always in leather pants/uniform!?... i mean, when kaoru woke up from her nightmare and saw kouga standing there... the fangirl in me went - OMFG you wake up from a nightmare, and the first thing you see is hot konitan in leather pants brooding and worrying about you *dies*... but the other bit of me went, why is this guy always wearing the same leather pants even so early in the morning in his own house?... ok, i guess the only plausible explanation would be maybe he wanted be battle ready all the time so he has a whole wardrobe of the same leather pants/uniform... *sigh*
3/now we know the secret behind the picture book, but we are left with another question... why is the last page empty? i have a couple of guesses already... i think her father left it blank for kaoru, for her to find out the 'truth' so it could help her with whatever she need to face, which i think her father (and kouga's father too) somehow 'knew' already... and yes rei is definitely here to get garo... but why? i don't think it's a simple ego thing... and what about his own town? if he's allowed to hang around in the 'east', who's doing his job in the 'west'? and still no clues on his 'history', how gonza wasn't able to find a makai knight matching his age and stuff from his book... i think this point would come back, it might have something to do with the real reason why rei is here to get kouga...
can't wait for the next ep... from the end trailer, there's a glimpse of kouga and kaoru together, v. close o_0 ... so finally *sigh*...
