a first time...
those who know me in rl, know that i don't own a credit card, or a computer... i've only started owning a mobile phone since the beginning of last year LOL ...so yeah, i'm a bit 'old fashioned' and 'untrusting' (and wierd, reclusive, stubborn....) at times - that's why i've never bought anything online...
i've been trying to find mucc's album 鵬翼 in various small shops in wanchai, mongkok, causeway bay, since beginning of december... but all i could find is the more expensive special edition (the one with dvd) and not the first press (the one with bonus track), or the normal edition that i wanted... since they are small shops, most of them don't do orders, and i would have to pay up first even if they do...
so after much thought, since i don't know/trust those small shops enough, there's only 2 options left... 1/ order through HMV or, 2/ order from some well known online shop...
option 1/ if i order through hmv (since they don't have it in stock), i would probably have to pay up to 50 to 100 (HK) dollars more than the price than i usually pay if i get it from the small shops, but i would have the peace of mind...
option 2/ i could try to order it from yesasia, and i would only have to pay no more than 30 to 50 dollars more than the price i'd expected to pay in a small shop... since i've been spending quite a bit recently, this would be a better option... the only thing is, i've never bought anything online before...
so i checked with yesasia.com...and found out that their office is actually only 180 metres from my office!!! so that gave me the 'confidence' i needed to place my first online order, GO ME!! \(^o^)/
what's more, i found out that i could easily pay by direct deposit, my bank is same as their bank!! so i called them after i filled the order form online before lunch, and went straight to the bank at lunch time... then, i called them again straight away after i email them my deposit slip ^^ (yes, i'm very careful with these things xddd)
and i recieved their email 'approval of order' straight away... so quick!! the whole process took less than 3 hrs!! and to save time waiting for the post/delivery, i asked them if i could pick it up myself... their reply: they have the cd in-stock, so yeah i could probably pick it up on friday, or even tomorrow if i'm lucky ^^ so that means i could have it just in time for ore-sama no tanjoubi LOL
