Friending Frenzy--Everyone is invited! :)

Sparked by a recent spate of friends leaving LJ, I decided to have a go at my own friending frenzy. The idea of a friending frenzy is to find new LJ friends that you may or may not have have had the good fortune to meet otherwise.
For those of you who haven't seen one before, here's the deal:
1.) Post a comment to this entry giving a little bit of information about you, your interests, what sort of friends you're after, etc.
2.) Read the comments other people have left and reply to those you would like to add.
3.) Advertise the frenzy by linking this post on your own journal so more people come to join in. Doesn't matter if you know me or not.
4.) Add lots of new friends and have fun.
5.) As the host you don't have to add me, I'm just the middle (wo)man. However, if you do want to add me, just let me know in your comment.
6.) The 'friendzy' will remain public for as long as it stays active.
