This continues to be absolutely brilliant. Every emotion is so beautifully drawn, and vivid, to the point where you can absolutely feel what's going on within Rose's mind. Her anguish at John going off to war, her confusion at her kiss with the Doctor...

I really look forward to when the Doctor and Rose actually talk about what happened to them, and hopefully the kiss is just the trigger to cause such a discussion. Look forward to the next installment (conclusion?)!

Thanks SO much! I'm glad that the level of emotion is working for you! That's awesome! And yes, talking is coming...

There's actually two more. Sort of. The "ish" is an epilogue. I just didn't want to confuse people by throwing "epilogue" on the end of the title of every chapter. And I didn't want to call it a chapter, because it only takes place in one timeline. So two more :) Hope that's a good thing!

Oh, the angst! John leaving for the war tears my heart into itty bitty pieces, especially since we know she won't see him again. =(

Yeah, that bit was harsh, wasn't it? *clings to John* I actually did like how that half of the chapter came out. It's just the first half that I was iffy about! I'm glad you still like it the second time around ;)

This is a great chapter! So much emotion here and you wrote it so well. And I do so love that kiss. I've read this many times already and still I could read that scene over and over some more. It's just lovely. And filled with UST and love and emotions and, and, and, it's just wonderful.

*pffft* Suffer? I assure you, no suffering was involved. Especially since I had the privilege of instant gratification and got to see the ending as soon as it was written. In fact, it just got better and better with each reread. ;)

...and then...the Bad Wolf emerged and smacked the Doctor around until he started talking about his feelings...and then...(see #1)...the end!
