Was asked to take some images of a dog that is terminal and has very little time left. Intended to do the shoot outside and then it started raining. Raw, raw emotion. Lots of tears from the pet parent. Absolutely heartbreaking. Won't share the rest, but isn't she beautiful? She stayed in her mom's lap a good bit of the time.

I often ask myself, "Why dogs, cats, horses live less than human?" Animals are so much better than people...

It would seem only right that the kindest, gentlest, sweetest souls get to live the longest. I wish that were the case.
