Master Gardener Update

A few have asked about my Master Gardener certification. From what I understand, the program differs from state to state. As it stands right now, I've got about six more hours to complete my externship. Next year and in successive years, I'll be required to do 30 hours of service and 10 hours of CE

You are almost there. Sounds like your county has some good opportunities to do your volunteer hours and to serve in the future.
Good for you for speaking up. Those meetings are usually productive. Hope your plant sale was. It's a lot of work to prepare for it, but it's fun.
