Yeah well, I think everyone was so appealed when bush was elected a 2nd time, it was like "WTF?!!". You know cos the 1st time was such a mess with recounting the votes again and again, and so you could think "oh it's a bad mistake", but then voting for him AGAIN was... just... really hard to accept;.
I think a poll showed that over 75% of Europeans would vote Obama, lol. :)
Well, he's already got lots of points in international diplomacy. Let's see for the rest.
I am as dumbfounded and appalled by the 2004 election as you are. I absolutely cannot figure out how that man won a second term as President. And I mean, he actually WON that time too (not like the 2000 mess where Gore won the most votes, but Bush got the magic number of states). Admittedly though, Bush BARELY won the second time- he only won the popular vote by 537 votes. Talk about the thinnest of victories. So, I do take solace in knowing that like 49.463% of the American voting public was smart enough not to elect that man. But unfortunately, it was the stupid 50.537% that got their way.
But, on to bigger and better things. I have complete faith in Obama to pick up the pieces and put us back where we should be, both domestically and globally.
I just like reading the headlines. Every single time I do, it gives me chills down my spine, plants a GIANT smile on my face, and a tiny little tear in my eye. I've never been prouder of us as I am right now.

And thank God the American people woke up and made the right choice.
